  • I have been shooting iron sights for about 40 years (I'm older than 40) and have been professionally carrying a handgun for 32 years. Age has brought me to utilizing a red dot on a pistol. Your instruction has been incredible!!! My transition to the red dot has been exciting and rewarding! Thank you VERY much!!

I'm always like "I don't have time to watch this whole thing" - and I always end up watching the entire video. fantastic video and explanation once again Aaron. I learn so much from these videos.

6 yrs ago and this is still solid today. Awesome video.
  • Man, you are one hell of an instructor, do you work with just anybody's or LE only? Your videos have been crucial to my development, your explanations, your examples, your real world common man terms, you understand even if you have even a minimal time behind a firearm.. and I wish I could express to you how much you have helped me.. Thank You Aaron.
  • I had my first concealed permit in 1998. I'm not new to shooting. Your style of instructing for me is perfection. You have to have a certain degree of intelligence to absorb the instruction, but you are well spoken, concise and to the point. I thank you Aaron, I'm a better and smarter shooter because of you.
  • I'd say I was a relatively early adopter of the pistol/rmr.
The older people that I let try mine end up getting one on theirs because it helps them shoot better (aging eyes). My dad was astounded I put that much money into mine. Let him shoot it. Couple months later, he got one...and now his friends are all getting them.
  • I chuckle when I see RDS advocates with time behind the RDS attempt to articulate this but they lack the actual in depth knowledge/experience to relay what you have perfectly delivered.

This is the best explanation I’ve seen in years.

This is absolutely fantastic information. How this channel doesn't have at least a million subscribers is kinda mind boggling.

By far the best instruction on finding the dot. Thank you for all your videos. This is my go to channel for equipment testing and evaluation and just for great information. Again, thank you for all you do for us.
  • @davidrahbany
Six year-old video still seems completely relevant and contemporary. Very clear and approachable instruction. Well done!
  • Thank u I learned more in this video than watching 20 other videos. I appreciate u taking the time to make this video Aarron.
  • This channel is Youtube gold. I got licensed as an instructor in 2016 but I'm always looking for ways to be better. Thank you for what you do man.
  • Wow! Excellent verbal presentation.
I'm almost 60. I shot on the Marine Corps rifle and pistol teams. So iron sight are dear to my heart. But as all old people begin to have problems with multiple focal point, Im thigh deep in that club.
I've shot quite a few of my friends and families handguns with the red dots.
10 years ago I would have argued with you about them being the future. Well, now Im on board.
While I don't usually listen to young men like yourself speak to me about guns and aiming in particular. I had been listening to your schpeel for a few minutes when I realized the words coming out of your mouth sounded like me giving instruction to a real shooter. I said, to myself this youngster is spot on!! I did finish the whole video. And yes even I learned something.
Thank you. Keep pressin' on. Shoot strait. One shot one kill.

This is simply an excellent lesson on using the red dot and learning how to aim and shoot. I would very much like to have you teach me sometime soon because you can never get enough training and learning is always the best from the best. Thank you.
  • @ClintK.
Just what I needed. Been struggling. Just got me a Hellcat with a sig romeo. Time to go buy another box of ammo to do it right. I was told to sight it in on my iron sight. Very well explained.
  • @JBleeZy6969
Just found your channel. The most informational rmr video I've seen so far. Great instructor!
  • @davidgeeman3254
Dude…seriously…thank you. Broke it down, kept a good pace, kept it informative…did NOT drone on. Solid foundation and reasoning for your statements. Gonna keep sponging this info and from your videos. Thank you again.

"this is a complete range diagnostic drill"

I needed this a year ago when I first got started on shooting an RMR'd gun. Good stuff Aaron.
  • Back for another viewing. A-A-ron is a f-ing outstanding instructor. Shujin may be a better term. Love me some Warrior Poet, love me some Field Craft Survival, but Aaron ties it all together so neatly and simply. No fan-bois myths, nothing personal, willing to learn and listen. No macho overtones where if you do not do it his way, you ain't sh!t.
It is a shame that he does not have at least 1,000,000 subs.

Wow man, you're an amazing instructor. I can tell you are quite intelligent, know what you don't know, and have a fundamental understanding of what you teach. I have no doubt you'll be extremely successful in drawing LEO and military training alike to your company. Damn good shot too.
