People lost their lives and he wants to talk about how much money was lost. I want off this planet.

I live in Minnesota and this gives me flashbacks from when the I-35W bridge collapsed here. My mom had just passed over it 10-20 minutes before it collapsed but she didn't find out until me and my sister called her after seeing it on the news.

  • IF there are 17 containers long and 20 wide and stacked 20 tall then you have some 7000 cargo containers. Give them a value of 30,000lbs each. That's 210 Million pounds. 210,000 TONS. and thats just the cargo.
  • They stopped vehicle traffic why didn't anyone warn those workers? That's negligence.
  • 6 construction workers. Umm…what about the people that were driving? Video clearly shows vehicles were affected.
  • @Scarletohellno
Did they have to contract outside dive teams since Baltimore defunded approx 30 million from police, harbor authorities, water recover and dive units?

Whatever economic cost the shipping company must be forced to pay.

The original broadcast stated that there were INDEED cars and at least a semi that went down. I don't know why my comments on this fact keep being deleted. Even in this video, you clearly see vehicles on the road before the collision, but of course they cut that part off. Now all of a sudden, it's just construction workers who were on it? I haven't seen a more blatant lie from the media in a while.

Presumed to be dead ? No they are in fact dead
  • @AladeenZ32
Kinda odd that the power poles in the water had that protective dolphin barrier around them but the bridge didn't.
  • @omi_god
It seems like a fair question to ask - why weren't the workers pulled off of the bridge? Why were they allowed to continue working, even as the bridge was being cleared of traffic?
  • Can see that semi as the boat was erupting in smoke. That was quick work to get the bridge free of vehicles.
  • @corrssiaperry
So they had enough time to stop traffic but not the workers?
  • @DavidVanHelden1
I don't think the smoke was for them losing power.... More like they were pouring the power on... I think they put it in reverse and hit the gas...
