The jury found Abulaban, a former social media personality, killed his wife Ana, and her friend, Ray Barron with malice.
Because Abulaban admitted to the killings, the jury was given the task of deciding whether Abulaban was guilty of first-degree, second-degree, or manslaughter when he entered his estranged wife's high-rise apartment and shot her and Barron while the two were on the couch.
"First-degree murder is an intent to kill with malice aforethought. So, you want to kill and you have an evil intent in your mind. Second-degree murder is killing somebody, intending to do so with malice, not premeditated. Voluntary manslaughter is killing someone in the heat of passion," explained criminal defense attorney Gretchen Von Helms.

Judging from his face, I really feel like he thought he had a chance. That's both terrifying and hilarious. Lives in his own universe.
-
His tears don't move me. He cries for himself, not for the two people he gunned down. He is a dark soul.
-
He's not upset about the killing, his upset about the crowd's cheering.
-
Did he honestly think he could kill 2 people and go home? No, dude. You’re done.
-
Let’s see how arrogance and narcissism play out in prison.
-
And he is still trying to intimidate people by staring back at them?
-
One word comes to mind about this guy is: Narcissist
-
mommy can't help anymore, in his mind he has never been wrong
-
He actually recorded as he was killing them! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE! Now he cries!
-
He really thought he was going to be acquitted. That level of delusion is actually kind of impressive.

Ali Abulaban getting found guilty of 1st-degree murders is asinine. Ali should’ve honestly gotten a manslaughter charge instead. Jury should definitely be ashamed of themselves and the people in that room who clapped and cheered are evil. Obviously knew that would be the verdict and I’m predicting/making a prediction that he will be sentenced to life without parole by the judge on 06/28/2024.

Actually believing that he could just barge into a room and kill 2 unarmed people sitting on a couch and go home is frightening. He's living in a LA LA land!
-
the face of a narcissist when he realizes that he’s not the star of the show
-
He has the emotional maturity of a toddler. Watch out for men and women like this. They are extraordinarily dangerous.
-
Tik Tok is a real magnet for narcissists.
-
He’s probably furious that there were female jurors passing judgment on him.
-
No sympathy for him as he sits and cries after he so heinously took two lives. The jury done a fine job.
-
He was numb for a few minutes and just realized they’re discussing the details of how they’re are going to lock him in a cage for the rest of his life. He’s never going to remarry, he’s never going to have family dinners, he’s never going to walk the streets freely again. Crimes of passion never give you ultimate relief.

Same situation happened to me, except i didnt kill them just divorced her. And yes, she told me "I never did love you!" I enjoy my life and freedom and my kids love me.

What a sad thing to be remembered as ….a TikTok star and a murderer. I’m not sure what’s worse.
