Reaching Master 1 with Priest Seto's Way - Playing Blue-Eyes True Light Deck ft Horus Cards

Published 2024-05-30
With Horus arrival, roleplaying Priest (later on becoming the Pharaoh) Seto becomes more possible. Blue-Eyes True Light version usually aims to loop Blue-Eyes White Dragon with its stone tablet, True Light, while also playing control cards. Playing Horus cards, aka the Pharaoh Guardian in its lores, help achieving this. Horus helps the consistency, by milling and drawing cards while also help making some R8 XYZ needed going 1st, as well as additional recovery effects if the game drags longer. I feel the deck is the easiest way of playing Blue-Eyes with Horus cards (compared to my 3 previous Blue-Eyes videos), since the gameplay is pretty direct and simple. I even had 7 winstreaks with this deck once on the ladder.

The deck prefers to go 1st and set a control board as strong as possible, with BE Jet to protect them from destruction, while also having Blue-Eyes cards, like True Light, as follow up on the next turn. With Horus cards, the deck can also access to R8 XYZ on the first turn, while also helping sending Blue-Eyes cards to GY and help the recovery if needed.

My 3 ways of playing Blue-Eyes with Horus cards videos earlier this month:

  • Since Kaiba/Priest Seto is the Pharaoh after Atem, I think playing Blue-Eyes with its stone tablet (True Light) alongside Horus, as Pharaoh's guardians, seems fitting. Dont you think? This is my 4th Blue-Eyes Horus video of the month. I put the links to my 3 previous Blue-Eyes Horus videos in the description. Explanation, full list, and alternative cards are in the description. That duel against meta-sheep Snake-Eyes player was KINO.
  • Great! I prefer the first version with horus and synchro. But they are all cool and viable, nice job.
