Newly elected Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament, Dato' Johari Abdul, was immediately faced with a challenge on the first day of his appointment to stop a shouting match between the Pakatan Harapan (PH) of the Unity Government and the opposition, Perikatan Nasional (PN), on Monday (19 Dec).

Datuk Seri Haji Johari Abdul Ghani, MP for Titiwangsa, who is part of the Unity Government, congratulated the Speaker on his appointment and suggested him to take a blood test, stress test and other tests every six months.
