An Explainer On ALL The Snakes in Metal Gear Solid

There’s Solid Snake (David), Naked Snake (Big Boss), Venom Snake (You), Liquid Snake (Eli), and Solidus Snake (George). VERY simple.

The snakes and who they are is probably the easiest thing to understand in that crazy franchise.

One eye, doesn't smoke, Solidus. Two eyes, doesn't smoke, Liquid. Two eyes, smokes cigarettes, Solid. One eye, E-cigar, Venom. And finally, the one who smokes cigars, Big Boss

It's worth noting that Smash Snake IS Solid, his Trophy description in Brawl refers to him as such and details his backstory.

I think you missed a few snakes. In MGS3, there's also the Coral Snake, and the Milk Snake. What's the deal with them? Are they clones too?

Venom snake explanation Venom is not some random medic he's you in the very first mission you create a avatar that represents you the player you put in your birth date your name you become apart of Big Boss' legacy

BTW: Raiden as Jack und Rose was a reference for Jack and Rose from Titanic. Even the Stairway and how the Ship sinks has some similarities.

Metal Gear reminds me of being in 4th grade and writing a bat shit story for school, only to make the twist at the end, “BUT IT WAS ALL A DREAM.” to get out of actually having to connect any plot elements together lmao

The main issue I have is that they clearly show the body of what’s supposed to be solidous snake in MGS4 and it’s missing the right eyeball which doesn’t make sense since solidous snake’s LEFT eye is the one that got got somehow, but whatever, let’s just say that in order to make it believable whenever was in charge of that swapped the eyes or whatever. Easy, HOWEVER, it doesn’t explain how Big Boss shows up at the end of MGS4 with ZERO burn marks. Burn marks that he would’ve received during his fight with solid snake in metal gear 2
