WELCOME BACK!!! This one shows a first-floor dryer on a crawl space. Been a while since it had been serviced.... Let's get into it!!!

Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE and let me know where you're watching! I'm trying to grow this channel and shed a light on something that's often forgotten and extremely dangerous!

Please check out my website for my Quick Connect Periscope! It's the PERFECT product that replaces the flex hose connection and GETS THE MACHINE CLOSER TO THE WALL! Safer than ANY flex hose behind your dryer! No more fooling with connecting the dryer to the duct! No more lint leakage forcing you to dust constantly!

PLEASE LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE FOLKS!!! I'm trying to grow the channel however I'd much rather spread the word on the dangers of your dryer vent AND SAVE A LIFE!!! You subscribing helps get this message to more and more people!

Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

Just watched this one again! I can't believe this happens so many times! Or are you a magnet to insanely dirty dryer vents, LOL?

Do you think that this type of vent door hinders and allows the lint to block it up more than the hood type with a large flap. I think the loovers on this system helps to block the lint and create a clog.
  • I live in a senior community and every fall I have the maintenance man get up on the roof and clean the dryer vent.
  • Next time, put down a drop cloth or tarp to catch the lint. Also I use a handheld leaf vac to vacuum up when I am done. Not an expert but have done a few. The first time I did one, I used a leaf blower from the inside and blew through. Was not pretty. Somone asked, "How come the duct has so much lint?" The walls of the duct get charged with static electricity from the air blowing through it and that attracts the lint. Also. Some folks forget to put the filter back.
  • Great job , but honestly you shouldn’t have crimped that piece , should have crimped the dryer vent itself going downward , now you have created a slight restriction and also the lint is going to be catching on your crimped in and is going to get clogged faster..And you never put screws in dryer vents..They catch lint also..

Wow 😳 insane how much those lint systems hold!
  • @HighSierraBob
Wow, that thing was PACKED for being such a short vent!
  • Great movie, Steve! You look like Ben Foster from "Mechanic" (with Jason Stratham).Take care of your hands and knees - maybe, gloves and knee pads help you. Thanks!
  • Good Job😀an old toothbrush will easier to clean the inside flap and around the outside vent!! just a thought!!!

Did you remember to pick up your knife that was in the leaves?

If you put 1 ft markers on your cleaning line, it would help give reference of how far the cleaning brushes are from the opening.
  • @johnivers5191
Wow ! What would you do if the vent was flexible and not metal ? Thanks

Why do people say no bueno instead of no good
