Great video man. I just put up a 4x4 DIY in my backyard and have been trying to figure out how to rig it. I think you sold me on the fly-though. Also, brilliant idea about the platform feeder around the pole - I found some online for 4x4s as well. Where are you from? I live in Wisconsin and it certainly sounds different than a midwest accent but can't pinpoint it!!

Great idea. Ware do I buy the mounting bracket that attaches to poles. Thanks
  • Any suggestions for someone currently living in town, that has to take down their Sheppard hooks because of snow removal other than fastening directly to the building?

What about wind driven rain? Mine lets the birdseed get wet. Perhaps I should wall up 3 sides?

Hello, can I ask what the full mesh bottom is made out of and can I buy it so I can make my own tray for my fly through? The ones that come with my fly through are defected. Thanks

We have hawks that show up in yard after the leaves fall off the trees. They can then try to pick off the birds that are not paying attention, as they eat. We have tried removing the feeders for a week or so. The hawks simply come back. I was thinking of getting a large shield to put over the feeders so the hawks cannot see them feeding. Do you think this fly through feeder would help keep them safer from the hawks?

It's that simple, just go to the Stodoys website and enter the world of woodworkers.
