So beautifully read - like poetry. . . he is so sensitive, with total understanding of the play of emotions. about how beauty affects a man. how he is within the web of her embrace and her soft voice. 🕷️🕸️🌹
  • Wow! What a story, Agatha Christie was certainly a multi-talented, many sided author. This was so different, but engrossing.
  • An intriguing story, it's such pity the narrator is not credited. Such a sensitive, nuanced and atmospheric reading.

It was a cleverly constructed story. Each person's character and motivations were revealed in surprising and interesting ways.
  • What a brilliant play of words to create such a tragic story. Tragic yet beautifully and intensely written. Thanks for sharing.🌹

What an thoroughly unpleasant story. Well written and well narrated but still unpleasant.
  • Very different, as usual Christie is brilliant and it was a great rendition.

I wish the transcripts had read something close to accuracy. They are not even close to the actual words read by the excellent narrator. I tend to space out listening to recorded stories due to myself multi-tasking. It's nice to go read a part I missed. This translation was difficult to use. It still gets a big 👍 from me. Thanks!

The narrator reminds me of Frances de la Tour..
