*I’m Michael and I love creating music. I play, compose and record mostly calm and peaceful tunes and started sharing these here on YouTube in 2011.
Music can be much more than just pure entertainment. It can be a meaningful soundtrack that accompanies us through a moment, through a day, a phase, or through life.
Many use my recordings and piano music sessions as background music while reading, doing mind work, to achieve better focus, while studying, while being creative, while coding or designing a product, a service or the world of tomorrow. From your comments I know that my music also works as relaxing music, spa or yoga music, or to set a calm tone at cafes, bars, lounges, in hotels and restaurants, mostly at a low volume.
This project is not as much about a genre as it is about a feeling. A way of life. With my tunes, I try to take a little heat and speed from our generally quite busy lives. A soundtrack for you, when you feel the need for a calm and peaceful, light and positive tune, the relaxdaily way.

Michael, I work with people in late stage dementia. Once I found your extraordinary music I shared it with them - the results were amazing. The peace it gave those dear souls was astounding. Thank you on their behalf and from the bottom of my heart. It also has been a blessing to me. I battle bipolar disorder and it brings me the “peace that passes all understanding.”

I genuinely feel that your music has been a contributing factor in pulling me back from the brink of suicide. Over the past several years it has become a regular part of my life. I listen to this at work when I am counting money and preparing a deposit; I listen to your music when I walk home or to work; I listen to your music when I am having trouble sleeping and I often play it as cleaning music or as background music when I have guests. The atmosphere created is a comfort to me, the visuals are soothing or in some cases comforting, depending on if you are visible in the video. There are so many options you have uploaded and all of them get used for different occasions. There is not a single one I don't play at least twice a week, normally.

Tears. Peace for children. I'm picturing the children of Gaza, those wo went to the sky, and the left, I'm imagining them waking up and seing the bombings stopped. Poor children, all over the world, poor mothers, fathers, poor sisters brothers, cousins, aunts and uncles. Poor innocent poeple paying for the craziness and those heartless poeple that want them dead. One day they will face them and they will have to explain, and they could'nt. As for the children, they will be in peace forever.

Time is chasing me to slow down. Live life in a pace that nature keeps ticking away. Flying like busy bees, looking for the honey that is our nectar. Blossoms, that fruits a sweet smell. Can't you taste the joy of a spring day filled with butterflies and dandelions, that bed our dreams to pillow our minds. Fall to sleep, knowing you wake up in the field of dreams, that can make anything come true. This is my dream of being able to play the piano like you. Feelings I want to share, feeling I want to grow, that are rising in me, whilst I am listening to your emotions that shine you. I can slow down, whilst time catches up with me.
