Ranking Member Jamie Raskin, Democrat of Maryland, joined GOP House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and other lawmakers in calling on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to resign after her agency's failures led to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. Raskin closed Monday's hearing by saying Cheatle has "lost the confidence of Congress at a very urgent and tender moment" in U.S. history. Watch Raskin and Comer's closing remarks.

Nine days later and she can't answer a damn question??? FIRE HER !!!
  • That the Secret Service director doesn't have the common sense to resign, then fire her.
  • the rest of the world does not live like this - with guns. Let me tell you from the rest of the world - we envy the ability to own a gun the USA has. Never give that up
  • @TCREGAN1
Can't believe they agree with the fact she needs to Resign or Be Fired!
  • Shame on Raskin for diverting the attention from the intentional failure of security to the debate about gun safety and legal ownership
  • Soon as I heard Cheatle had been given her position, uncontested, by Biden and his admin. I knew the answers even without her answering the questions. It might have been more appropriate for her to have answered - I plead the 5th.

She needs to be fired! She is not going to just walk away from 191000 dollars a year

Mr. Raskins' remarks blatantly reveal he does not abide with his oath of office, since he wants to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment; but, the 2nd Amendment, shall not be infringed upon: it , is part of the Bill of Rights ... not the Bill of Needs!

Raskin just couldn't resist the opportunity to go after assault weapons...disgusting.

Nope, not afraid of being attacked by an AR-15. Nope, lots of the world lives in much more danger than us.

lmao "an ar 15 attack." as if the gun just got a mind of its own. What a joke
