Yea I was so confused at first cuz I swore Olive was the one being able to float and Emma was able to set things on fire. I guess reading the book first really does matter

"you know how children are... Always playing with dead things.."

Did anyone else find the twins strangely cute? They're creepy, and I know what's under their mask but they way they act is sorta adorable.
  • I read the books and I saw the movie and yes, at beginning I was a little disappointed that they changed the story and they switched Emma's and Olive's peculiarities and a lot of the ages, but then, after I watched the movie more times and I analyzed it I was happy with the changes. In the movie there's a different message from the books. They are both amazing. The books are wonderful, but also the movie, even if it's different. They show different things, starting with a point in common. Miss Peregrine's books are so underrated and I think that it's one my favourite series. So entertaining and creepy, never boring and always surprising. The movie is more popular and more known and is very beautiful. So powerful, it catches perfectly the mistery and the creepiness of the books and it shows us a different way to see this story. Really beautiful, it's always a pleasure to watch it and to read the books. It feels always like home. A safe place that protects you from the boring normality and that gives you the chance to be who you really are, fearless of bad judgments. This is Miss Peregrine and I'm glad to be part of this incredible family and Fandom.
  • I know some people give this movie insults because how different it was from the books. And I was iffy about it at first, I really liked the books. But this movie was magical. Something like this, you have to let it stand on it's own. On it's own, it is a stunning piece of cinematography.

When I was young, I have a genuine fear of this film. It gave me nightmares. Like those creatures (not the children ofc) that eat there eyes are just terrifying 😂
  • the twins are my absolute favourite😭 especially when they hugged

NO! No! I read the books! Emma has the fire and olive can fly!!! And Emma's the one Jacob has a crush on!! WHY!?
  • For someone who LOVES the books, I’m actually pretty ok with the drastic differences, it’s quite like Burton to change things up (I.e Alice and Wonderland) I mean it is a bit drustrating but I love the movie as well!
  • Peculiar Children Emma: Can float and has air powers Enoch: Can bring the dead back to life but not for long Hugh: Has bees living inside him Twins: Wear masks or they might turn people into stone Brownyn: Has super strength Millard: Nobody sees him because he's invisible Fiona: Can grow trees, blooms flowers and plants Olive: Can burn anything Claire: Has a back-mouth Horace: He can express his dreams through a mocular, some of his dreams are prophetic but mostly about clothes

I guess it's because I haven't read the book yet but I honestly don't see why people are making such a big deal out of Olive and Emma's powers being switched. Just my opinion.

I love the books and I am glad that they added the twins to the movie. The twins where only just a photograph in the book. I hope that they make more movies about the books because they are soo goood. I am the biggest fan!!!

I just hate that they switched Olive and Emma. It just messes up the entire movie
  • @hmm2019
wait, when i read the book i swear to god olive was the little girl who could float and uses heavy shoes to stay on the ground and emma is a fierce girl who could make flames?

If I could put this movie in a Disney crossover, mostly Descendants, I think it would go... Pallaton Rolfe (son of Pocahontas) Emma Raven Skellington (daughter of Jack Skellington) Enoch Ogust Boogie (son of Oogie Boogie) Hugh Squeaky and Squirmy Smee (sons of Mr. Smee) The Twins Herkie (son of Hercules) Bronwyn Violet Parr (The Incredibles) Millard Perry Pan (because it would be ironic) Fiona Hadie (son of Hades) Olive Prince Ben (son of Belle and the Beast) Claire Faye (daughter of the Fates) Horace Think about it and you’ll see why these guys are the best fit.

I had a dream about these kids and when I tried explaining it to my family they didn’t believe me and I’m so happy I found it!!
