Got to admit, since wearing mask, I didn’t even get any common cough or flu .
  • @foleylione
I would have liked to have seen all the masks lined up with a rating.

they were talking about masks to random people... without wearing masks? I'm confused.
  • I've been in the medical field for over 22 years. I was diagnosed with TB. I was shocked. I did what the doctor told me to do, I took some medication & a Chest X-ray earlier on during my career. I worked tirelessly to help our patients combat the H1N1 influenza virus pandemic. So here comes the COVID-19 pandemic. In my opinion concerning these types of viruses, I treat them as their in the same family. I trust only N95 😷

Why arent companies required to make masks that will actually be effective in keeping us safe.
  • @ededdeh1960
Not all disposable medical masks are the same, should test a variety of those masks too
  • @DertyMike
If you look closely at alot of the packaging on masks, they will often say "does not protect against COVID"

no wonder I saw a lady from walmart wearing a hanes briefs on her face. It has an elastic band to seal any air coming in and has a 3 layers fabric around her nose. it even has an opening for sipping a drink. best protection for the lowest cost.

  • @SuperDrewH
It would have been nice had they shared how effective they were, like the gator was 5%, where as the blue surgical was 40%.
  • @PV_S

I dont see how people didn't know this, I've yet to find one that fits me good enough and has enough thread count but I figured these things even this all first started unfortunately no one wanted to listen to me so thank you for this report

I shouldnt be so sad that this video didn't start with a cheery lady saying "this is YOUR marketplace" but I am

With masks being so popular right now I think it is important that everyone understand the general WSPS standard for mask use: Masks (even n95s) are the least effective way to control aerosol hazards in this case the coronavirus. Social distancing or "elimination" of the threat is still the most effective way of controlling environmental aerosol hazards and everyone should be focusing on that. Try and conduct business or events outdoors and isolate your contacts as best as you can. If you are a business owner that would mean trying to focus on curbside pick up rather than in store visits.

I don’t know when you did your testing, but I have the one with the vent on the side and I find it protects better than other one I had before because it has 3 layers creating a pocket for a PM 2.5 filter which entirely covers the vent. If that isn’t safe, I don’t know what is. I wear a mask, to protect others, but mostly to protect myself.
  • @RIPLV
Doesn’t matter the size of the mask, my glasses will always fog up
  • @oana9512
would have loved to see them test silk masks..
