I think Mr. Sternberg drasitically underestimates how strongly disliked trump is. There are many voters who have not been excited about either candidate -- one too old, the other too insane. Now one of the candidates is both too old and too insane. The focus on the Dems will no longer be how feeble Biden is, but on the track record of the administration. Border has been an issue but the Republicans killed a bipartisan deal at the behest of trump. So I disagree that trump has a huge lead. Maybe it is wishful thinking on my part, but if the truth of Project 2025 can be messaged, only lunatics will vote for trump. And I say this as a former Republican...
