Definitely most viewed WNBA season in along time is about to happen and yes I think Caitlin Clark can shoot and pass at the next level. Diana Taurasi is right though that she will need to improve on defense and continue to get stronger if she wants to be that superstar she was on the collegiate level in the WNBA. 🎉 Also glad to see Kate Martin get drafted and happy for all the girls that got selected that have a opportunity to play a kids game for a living what a dream good luck to them all! 🎉

Nobody is hating. They are just being real, bringing up valid points. People are just sensitive and hear what they want to hear to be outraged. Well explained and broken down Rachel

I'll actually watch WNBA games for the first time ever to watch her play. It'll take her a bit to acclimate but she'll be great. They also put a bunch of UCONN players on there while she was playing UCONN, what do you expect them to say

I appreciate this objective take on the players like Tuarasi and their comments cuz I was under the impression their takes were purely negative. In reality I see the constructive side of their comments and believe it’s realistic what they’re saying. I think she’s got a good head on her shoulders and is gonna make a huge impression pretty quickly. I’m really excited for the league thanks to this class of talent being drafted 🔥

Just call it like it is the older WNBA players was mostly boring. They make the game boring. The new generation is here to change all of that.

I think Caitlin Clark It's going to inspire generations of female superstar talent for the WNBA like Jordan did for the NBA. No, I'm not saying she's Jordan but she really has impacted viewership for sure.

Born and raised Iowa Hawkeye, now a Fever fan with merch on the way, and I have tickets for the two games Indiana plays against the Mystics here in DC. Can’t believe I’m typing this, but so psyched for the WNBA season and all these great rookies! 😆
  • Caitlin clark has marquee value she puts eyes on TV and asses in the seats, she is the greatest female basketball player ever past Present or future, she will save the WNBA and bring it to it's pinnacle

Kaitlyn Clark is something none of those people in the WNB have seen before the girl is shooting in space it’s impossible for her 💯💯💯💯💥
  • @brandonzzz1
These are the goats of people that played when no one was watching the game really so public at large really don’t care
  • @brandonzzz1
She is no Kobe. If her game was like Kobe. She would’ve been growing women’s basketball would’ve been excited. Kobe have an exciting game she don’t.

Totally agree that the outrage over DT’s comments is off the mark. She and others have praised Caitlin for her game, for growing the game and so much more.

I’m a huge CC fan but as usual people are overreacting to a narrative based on a sound bite. I’ve heard both Taurassi and especially Bird give CC lots of props on many other instances. CC herself said in her Fever intro that the coach will yell at her for defense 😂 Good thing is it seems these narratives don’t seem to bother CC at all

This is a well measured breakdown of what's happening around Caitlin Clark. I think many sides are too in the weeds about this era of potential growth. DT isn't demonstrative in her commentary, but I can see why fans wouldn't like it, because that's what fans do in general. She was a little coy choosing Paige and drinking her water on TV, so I don't think people are all wrong she(and others) are a lil salty. It's human. I know people may not wanna admit women can be a lil jealous of other women, but women are human. Some people will like it some won't, but that at least means people are interested, which is good for the game

People who think she will dominate on day one don't watch the WNBA and have no idea of the talent of players like Breanna Stewart, A'ja Wilson or Chelsea Gray.
