7 year ski patroller here. You guys were fine, you showed more regard than most I see on the hill. Wouldn't have stopped you or even gotten an itch to investigate.

The initial guy that ultimately stopped you was one that never saw you. He was lower on the run. He identified you by one of you having a selfi stick (said when he first saw you). Like a dozen other groups of riders. They called out the wrong group and if they ever realized it were too deep in to back out.

You were totally respectful and 100% in the right. I'm not just saying that. These guys let what little power they have in their lives go straight to their heads. They'll do this to the wrong people one day and get jacked up in the parking lot. Awesome job keeping your cool and staying professional. RESPECT!!

On the East Coast you can blow past ski patrol doing 80mph and they will give you a high five at the bottom
