Make it a habit to NEVER leave the dryer door open. Cats love warm places. We lost a precious cat one time who decided to climb inside the warm dryer. My grandmother was hard of hearing, and didn't realize the cat was inside.

You should flip the direction of the opening of the doors on the machines to make it easier to transfer the clothes over. It's pretty simple to do, it's just a few screws and I'm pretty sure that there's instructions on the manuals on how to do it. If not, obviously you can easily find how to do it online. Trust me, I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but it just makes life so much simpler to not have the doors in your way! 😊

Roberto, your laundry room is going to be Freddie’s second favorite room in the house with the kitchen being her favorite! It’s looking remarkable and you have done an awesome job! Moo Moo was upset that you shared with the goats and didn’t give her any so she got some for herself. She’s a sweet girl. She deserves a treat too sometimes.💕

The doors on most washers and dryers can be reversed. Remove and flip your washing machine door over so that it opens to the other side. You'll be glad you did. 😉

Rodrigo next tim you may want to consider taping a transparent tarp over the doorway to prevent drywall dust from getting into the other areas of your home. I'm happy you chose not to waste the paint and use it instead. I like the color! Your laundry room is looking like a happy place for your future!

The laundry room is looking fantastic. You should be so proud of the great job you did. Please keep your dryer door closed when not in use. Seeing how Roger seems so fascinated by the dryer, let me tell you what happened to my friend. My friend threw her laundry in the dryer, left the door open to go get more dryer sheets and came back and started the dryer. Sadly, not knowing, her cat had climbed into the dryer and you can imagine what horrific thing she discovered when she pulled the dry clothes from the dryer. This incident has haunted me forever. Please be careful.

I am so glad those people saying you should make that a guest room didn't influence you to change your plan just to accommodate the occasional visitor but instead you put to good use the space within your home to accommodate your needs for daily life and to do your wash within your own home rather than using the neighbor's space or going all the way to town when you can simply do it under your own roof! As selfish as it may seem...I would rather have my own laundry room in the house than a room that would rarely be used and have to do the laundromat thing and have a visitor's hideaway. There's nothing wrong with spending a night or 2 on the couch then going back to their own house where their own bedroom is! 🎉Great Job Bobby!!!

Great job Rodrigo! When Freddie gets back, you both can figure out how to make best use of the space. Maybe some shelves for detergent and cleaning supplies? Maybe a countertop for folding? I really like the paint color- good use of the paint! 👍☺️ I hope you are taking good care of yourself while Freddie is away? All nighters are not the best thing to do, especially when it is not necessary. Everything you did while you could have been sleeping could have waited to the next day! Suggestions for plants for the greenhouse- tomatoes would do well, lots more carrots, cucumbers, peppers. I love the progress you are making! ❤️❤️

You should flip the door on your dryer so it opens towards the washer. Will help when shifting from the washer to the dryer. We did it on ours

Looks fantastic. One thing I would think about is reversing the washer and dryer as it will make it much easier to load and unload the washer and dryer.

👍 That paint color looks so FANTASTIC on the laundry room walls! Please-please, repaint and cover that dark-green wall inside your dinning room with this same light-blue paint color. Second option: I actually do think all of the inside walls should be painted with this light-blue color, and have your dinning room accent wall wallpapered with the same shade of blue as your refrigerator with a speck of dark-green in the wallpaper design.
