Ukraine's allies have already begun allowing Kyiv to use Western weapons to attack military targets inside Russia. The French leader, Emmanuel Macron, has even suggested that NATO troops could be deployed within Ukraine - to carry out training missions for example. But NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine, in whatever capacity, would be seen as a significant escalation by Russia.

Correction: The graphic at 2:06 incorrectly says ‘Long-range missiles targeting inside Russia.’ The US has eased limitations on how Ukraine can use American weapons, allowing for some strikes into Russia for the limited purpose of defending Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city. We apologize for the mistake.

I have to say, France has really stood up for Ukraine.

“Testy subject.” Geez, you think there might be a war or something like that going on.

Miron is one of the more honest analysts.

Correction. They were talking about training SOLDIERS, not pilots in Ukraine.

US retired military officers saying, Ukraine did not maintain their Abrams and crew couldn't use them to the best of their abilities. French and US jets require lots of maintenance and training. Both Ukranians and Russias are cowboys when it comes to using equipment.
  • Its more like burden. Make up their damn minds. Either all are F16 or Mirage, not mix of aircraft because its going to be an administrative and logistical nightmare. Its silly.

You forget in the red lines list ATACMS, Cruise missiles like Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles
  • I’m in Ukraine and I am impressed how every effort to make it better by the personal effort of individual soldiers not just in the battle zones but when not in the battle zones

Your title refers to supplying Mirages. Then the report is about ALL branches, and is all over the place.. F-16 training has been occurring for months.

“End of the year” case solved😂😂
  • @Robert-xy4xi
So more old airframes and a completely different logistical supply, training and weapon system!

This feels like East and West Germany all over again except Russia doesn’t want to legitimize an Eastern Ukraine but it very much is becoming a Korea, Vietnam, or Germany type of situation.
  • But Russia make use wragner group and chen Chen also to fight against the Ukraine
  • @philipb2134
It would make sense for initial training of Ukrainian pilots first to train in France on these Mirages, while the logistics were set up in Ukraine. Will not be alone in noting that the best combat airframe to help the Ukrainian defense needs, is the Swedish Gripen.

This decision could invite more military chaos and attack from the adversaries.
