It's so surprising to see how safe and trusting the cat and the hen are with each other. I've seen a similar story at my grandma's : there was one duckling that got out of his egg much earlier than his siblings, so there was a risk mama duck would leave the eggs to take care of the baby, so my grandma had to take him away and put in a box in the warm corner of her kitchen. It so happened that mama cat was also in that same corner with her litter and the duckling must have felt lonely, so he somehow managed to jump out of his box and join the kitties. It was the sweetest thing seeing this duckling among kittens drinking milk and mama cat grooming the duckling as well as her own kids 😍
