Todays mock test is with Abdullah, who has had 20 hours of practice with his dad + 2 hours of driving lessons with an instructor.
He does not have a test booked and wanted to know how he would get on.

  • For someone who has had 20-30 hours with family, he's doing great. He should look at booking his test. Some more driving lessons and he's good to go I believe.

that was such a smooth ride. Lesson learnt from Abdullah: remain calm and be fully aware of your surroundings.

He is doing SO WELL! A few hiccups here and there, but he seems to have a great road awareness that confidence that a few of your other subjects could benefit from. These videos are so wonderful, thanks for sharing peaceful pleasant content ❤️

After passing the test, I am just watching your videos now for fun. 😅❤

I passed today with only 2 minors. I’m just making the rounds to my favourite driving channels to say thank you so much for the help. My instructor was brilliant and taught me well and these YouTube channels helped me learn between lessons. So, again, a BIG THANK YOU!

These videos have been really helpful! Just passed 2nd time today, even though I thought I failed. Good luck to everyone with a test coming up 😊

That was a pretty decent drive for someone with so little experience, I reckon Abdullah will do pretty well once he gets the speed under control as that seemed to be where his issues were coming from
  • @Clare214
He’s pretty swift for a new driver! But seems like a sweet lad. Hope he does well xxx

Finally, FINALLY, I'm able to say I've joined the passed my test but still watching your videos club! Your videos have helped me so much, esp as I'm (a bit) older than your average new driver and they really helped with my confidence. .

I’ve been a learner for 3 years and i got my license 2 weeks ago, me and my dad drove every day weeks before my second test so i feel like a competent driver, I did go to a 2 week speed course also so I was really prepared. I got a few things wrong on my second test like when I reversed around a corner i went up a bit on the sidewalk but the instructor told me that I could do it again and when I start there was a bunch of cars coming so I stopped, even tho I couldn’t complete the reversing I passed since I looked around a lot and was aware of the cars around me. I also almost missed a turn that was only a few meters after I got of the motor way, I have dyslexia and I told the instructor this before the test and he overlooked my almost fail because of this. I have a automatic license and I live in Sweden. the written test is 70 questions and you have to have 52 right answers and I got 56. 5 questions is just questions they have to see if they can use these questions in future tests. I am really proud of myself for passing, I have ADHD and Autism so I’m not really confident in myself. Sorry for the ramble, there is probably no one that wants to read this haha.

He drives better than some divs on the roads with full licenses

Passed first time with 4 minor faults last week 🎉 thank you so much for your videos they were so helpful between lessons with my instructor 😊

He’s a good driver but I think he’s a bit over confident and needs to refine his observation skills, and certainly keep his speed under control.

You're doing really well Abdullah, you're almost there! Remember those blind spots and watch that speed, it creeps up. Good Luck with your Driving Test and come back and let us know how it goes.
  • @barsorrro
Abdullah is a bit of roller-coster operator when it comes to being a driver -- fun and thrilling rides for his passengers are guaranteed! :D More seriously, though, he's a confident and competent driver. Certainly looks well above the expected skill-level of someone with just 30 hours' worth of driver experience, and that mostly being supervised by another driver and not by a professional instructor. Heck, he gives an impression of being a routined driver. Hopefully, the lesson of the mock test will help him get more careful with his speed, because for an unexperienced driver it's sometimes difficult to internalize that the speed limits are not so much a question of what we ourselves and our cars are able to handle safely, but what is necessary because of the unpredictability of other road users.
