I love that he takes the spot at the end of the range just so he can line a few up in the rough out there, open right up and belt out a rescue shot with the fairway wood. Also notice how when he starts out with the short iron he moves the ball progressively back in his stance to find his sweet spot for the day. What prep.

This is one of the coolest things I've seen on YouTube.

I wonder if he had any idea that that day he would have one of the best back nines in golf history...

I love the sound pros get when hitting irons. So crisp.

I always remember Darren Clarkes Tiger story. He was practicing beside him at the range one day warning up and he said Tiger flushed every shot and hardly bruised the grass.

He has such a smooth, fluid golf swing. I've improved my own just by watching his mechanics. When I go to the range, I start with irons and swing nice and easy, then gradually start adding power as I work my way up to the drivers.

His hand to the sky move is mind blowing to think that starts his swing 😮

One of the things i've taken from watching this video of Tiger and other great ball strikers such as, Stricker, Nick Price and Ernie Els to name a few is this: to keep the lag angle as long as humanly possible. I've struggled with that for so long. Now i do the "pump" drill on the range before and after every round and i'm consistently striping the ball.....

It looks so smooth and effortless!😊 I hope he gets back out there soon.

Fully agree. I was looking at this move as well and realized that a lot of teaching will actually tell you to put the the right palm down already at that point to "hit down" on the ball. No wonder people keep hacking along.

This guy is seriously talented. Just look at his balance, never seen anything like it, every shot is finish with total ease and tranquility
