  • Leon you inspired me to quit drinking and I'm over 4 months sober now, never felt better. Even training to be a group fitness instructor for first time!

Awesome video, Leon! Getting alcohol out of your life, opens your mind and body up to opportunities, that are never there when alcohol is in the way. You'll get these benefits after quitting: 1. More free time 2. Sleep better 3. Better mood and concentration 4. Your memory will improve 5. Increased brain function 6. lose weight. 7. More energy 8. Save money 9. Healthier skin 10. Less stress

1 1/2 years alcohol free. Thanks for your videos and positive messages. Truly inspirational!

1 year plus sober with your method, and I just realized that it's the exact same first principle method I have used to lose 30kg without even knowing it. As I did study nutrition and diet and how the body works it became a lot more easy to say goodbuy to the harmful foods. (a study of KETO and Carnivore diet) Thanks Leon!

I’m only 8 days sober, but I want to stay that way. I’m 65 & have finally realized that the only drink I can choose is the first one… after that it’s the drug talking.
  • @KanwarAnand
the most strange thing about booze is how it seems only I think its a problem and everyone I know thinks its ok. Thats maddening.

I'm surpised why this channel hasn't yet got a million subscribers, actually.

18 months sober and I mentioned that to my doctor yesterday and her eyes popped open like I feel that abstinence from alcohol is rare.
  • Good point, Leon. It also works this way: ususally people fall not into alcohol in general, but into certain drinks - beer, wine, whiskey, etc. So one of the trap I faced (I liked beer) was this one: "beer is such a great craft, brewers innovate, put new hops in craft, and the brewers are all nice people, and some of them actually concerned about ecology, and make a good choice of ingredients, and recycle, and their marketing is so great, and some of them have great traditions for centuries, and so on, and so on". But then I thought - wine industry is actually not less sophisticated than beer industry, they also have traditions, craft, history, variety, character, purpose, etc. But I don't want wine, anyway, I just don't care about wine. And so all these arguments about great craft beer industry fall apart and you see things as they are. Beer is just as harmful as wine, no matter who produces it and what stories they put into their marketing to sell it.

I drank non alcoholic Stella last Saturday, I had a plan to trick my taste buds, it actually worked . The horrible beer taste eventually got horrible and then I ate so I’m going for 2nd week this week . I’m going to try the Guinness one this week as that taste horrible too…

I want to quit as I always have more than intended, and I get terrible hangovers ,been vomiting quite a bit lately after drink, the thing is I don’t feel great even when I did 54 days sober ,I keep waking up stopping breathing at night ,last night twenty times but slept after ,and been sober a week, I don’t want to go to the gym ,I have not got a great life ,but not really terrible one either ,I just want to not be hungover, and be anxious all through the night after initial deep sleep when drunk.I’m missing the care free feeling that alcohol gives me for about the six hours I drink .just feel boring and flat ,not all the time but just at those times where I would of been drinking.

Sounds like Allen Carr’s message exactly 🎉
