Hamas is calling for a plan to implement a cease-fire with Israel instead of a new round of talks. It follows a deadly Israeli strike on Gaza City that drew international condemnation. The strike was aimed at a Hamas “command and control center” embedded within a school and adjacent mosque, Israel’s military said.
In financial markets, global stocks struggled to hold gains as traders prepared for a week packed with US data that will shed light on the health of the world’s largest economy and the outlook for Federal Reserve interest rates. Europe’s Stoxx 600 index erased a 0.5% advance, while US futures and Asian stocks retreated from their earlier highs.

    Do these economists live in an alternate reality? Home sales are flat at best. Nobody is hiring as a matter of fact they’re laying people off. Oil companies are slowing production because of low demand. Either you people are just plain lying or completely ignorant.
