zoro ate the badass badass fruit

I love the fact that this shows perfectly his character development. Because clearly his dream had always been the most important thing for him since he was a kid. Valued his dream over his life. Trained like crazy to get where he is, never stepped back and always kept learning. So for me the best epic moment in the entire series will always be (or so far at least) when he sacrificed himself for Luffy. I feel like when people think about that scene they're like "wow he's so loyal he gave up his life" and It's like NO, he not only gave up his life, he gave up his dream which was a much bigger deal for him. And to think he joined Luffy with the condition that he'd kill him if he ever got between him and his dream. His promise to Luffy, him letting some people beat him up because luffy told him so, him not wanting luffy to be humilliated, the sacrifice, swallowing his pride and asking his enemy to train him for the sake of his captain, telling luffy to get his shit together, etc. For me the captain-first mate bond of those two is far better than any anime duo out there right now. People have always liked him from the beginning because he acts like a badass (he is) but he started being my favorite after the fight with kuma. His actions and the love he has for his captain and the rest of the crew are far more "cool" than any technique or speech he could possibly give lol anyway great AMV, bookmarked and favorited!
