Please stop disrespecting this lady folks. It was a tribute to Selena! She was not trying to sing like her! And let’s be clear for young fans like me… Jlo brought Selena to life for me.. I was 5 when Selena passed away, I only knew the movie! So please stop smh!

I think Jennifer Lopez was the only person that could’ve done Selena justice. This tribute was amazing! Like previous poster said, Jennifer was not trying to sound like Selena… She doesn’t have to she’s J Lo. It was a tribute to honor her by singing her songs. And she did a phenomenal job.! Jennifer Lopez has ALWAYS sounded better when singing in Spanish, and in this performance she brought her A game because she has so much respect for Selena family and her legacy.

This tribute was absolutely gorgeous! I discovered Selena from an interview she did on the Christina Spanish talk show. I thought what an amazing, beautiful sweet soul she is...fell in love with her music. Then she was gone...taken away by a selfish human being. It was so sad because she was young but more so because she was taken from her family much too soon and in the worst possible way. I am happy that her music lives on and JLO did such an amazing job. You can see and feel the heartfelt genuine appreciation she has for her. Her family also appreciated it. RIP Selena ❤
