🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣It's a beautiful thing when a married couple can bring each other to tears in genuine laughter 😂❤!
-
"I'm getting braces soon though....." 🤣😂🤣 I cannot take it!!!😅🤣😂

"If the flesh is fun to you, then you are deceived." #AWord

“PRESTON you are doing the absolute most. You’re doing A LOT” 🤣🤣

That’s good. God didn’t save us, he is saving us everyday! Sanctification is a process.
-
"Can we praise God for anniversaries?" 😂😂😂😂😂 Preston sit down😂😂😂😂😂
-
The intro to this is OUTRAGEOUS! Whyyyy would y’all cut up like that?! 😂😂😂
-
“God delivers us from worldliness and carnality to make us useful” Amen 🙏🏽

“ bet you won’t fight me tho “ is the most Chicago thing ever 😭

This was sooooo sobering. As a newly divorced women I wrestled with the idea of compromising. Every once in a while I have to remind myself that I don’t belong to the streets anymore 😂. But I am realizing like you guys said that it’s all rooted in unbelief. I don’t fully believe that God would provide me with godly pleasure so I flirt with the idea of finding a perverted version in the streets. Love you guys!!

Between Preston mocking Keely and Jackie mocking Alicia, I am in shambles 😭😭😭😭

one of the many great things about the perry’s is that they don’t speak of their pasts from a place of shame (at all) but rather from a place of strength because they know and believe that there is power in the words of their testimony. so beautiful!

I was called the N word at the ATM shortly after I was saved. like really saved. I got so angry This time I searched for answers in the bible instead of calling my friends to hype me up . You noticed that Jesus never defended himself during the crucifixion, Neve spoke a word God also told me Jesus went STARIGHT to the wilderness after his baptism. These 2 lessons helped me to realized when you give your life to God you will be tested so be like Christ: In the wilderness use the word. In anger say nothing. I love this podcast feels like a cousin kickback every time. Sidecap: This Episode had me weak a few times 🤣🙌

The greatest deception is that there is a “middle ground” when GOD is clear…His word is clear. It’s either this or that. That or this. If it’s not of GOD, uplifting, full of Holiness, giving Glory & Honor to GOD…if it opposes the word of GOD it is NOT of Him therefore there is no halfway or lukewarm that is pleasing unto GOD. Deliverance from carnality is the fullness of joy!!!

This episode is RIGHT ON TIME coming up on one year of celibacy now I’m facing temptations I wasn’t dealing with at the beginning of this journey. Preston : “If you’re not wrestling with sin then it’s probably evidence you’re not a Christian God wants to sanctify you through the wrestle” 😰😮💨 whew MY GOD!

The paradox is intense. The more I submit to God is the more I see what's wrong with me and my unworthiness. BUT at the same time, I experience God's love and acceptance that is based only on the sacrifice of Jesus. To feel unworthy before God and at the same time experience, to a greater extent, that same God's full acceptance. It's crazy!!!

The air bnb host thought yall were going to bring women back but God sent you all to bring that woman to Him. Amen!

The way it goes from Preston cooking the lisp to telling her not to cook Alicia 😂

Preston and Jackie are hilarious 😂. Also, it really resonates with me how Jackie talked about people thinking Christianity is not fun. We have all been deceived at one point when straying away, thinking the world is more fun than God. I must say that nothing in the world has ever given me the peace and joy I find and experience in Christ and fellowship in like-minded Believers. Joining a small group Bible study this year, helped me with this. And most definitely a lot of it boils down to desiring fellowship, as she mentioned, and I believe at times the resistance to surrendering all parts of our life to our Lord and Savior. This was a wonderful episode.❤

Hearing Preston’s story about going to Cuba reminds me of my friends and I went to Costa Rica. We went on a boat trip and had so much fun, but had no alcohol. We also gave a generous tip. Our guide and the boat captain was in shock by all of it because they had never had that happen: 4 American women (specifically black in our case) be as fun, full of life and generous without alcohol. People from all over looked at us shocked.
