Upon further review painted nails guy looks to have green hair (when I watched I thought he was just blonde) like yall pointed out. This greatly reduces my hopes even further lol, as well as pointing out that the Obamas may have had a hand in the production...Also thanks for your kind words about the mini me, I am beyond proud of my wife for cooking him up!

The craziest thing about this movie is none of us are arguing that civil war isn’t a possible scenario, we’re all arguing that it’s unrealistic for Texas and California to be allied 😂
-
If a 2nd civil war really did breakout here, I'm pretty sure there would be no shortage of ppl with "silly" looking kits - In fact, they're likely to vastly outnumber people with "cool" gear.
-
Those gun fight scenes and tactics look legit and realistic, too. I like how they show the civilians as trained, but nervous and not as fine-tuned as the military, but still a deadly and efficient force to reckon with. 👌
-
Congrats on becoming a father man! God Bless your family
-
You know it’s fiction cuz the press is depicted as heroes.
-
As Larry Corriea pointed out, "making the reporters the heroes is a bad sign".
-
The scene of "What kind of American?" Is what sells this movie. Such good acting in a moment of fear and awkwardness. A split nation trying to find its identity in real time
-
I think the haphazard gear choices are pretty accurate. We all know what we get at Shotshow and everyone thinks they're an expert. I couldn't even imagine the goofy choices people would make, at least in the eyes of other gear nerds.

“I’m trying to stay out of it” is probably the most accurate part of this trailer lmao
-
being Canadian, I am rooting for an america where its people truly believe in their country and constitution. For if not the U.S. there really isnt any other that can fill the shoes of such a truly unique nation.
-
“What kind of American are you?” Literal fuckin goosebumps. Chills. That still fucking just HITS
-
“I’m breaking my wife’s promise to take paternity leave. Don’t tell her” don’t worry bro your secrets safe with us

Just a note: the boogaloo uniform came from 4chan circulating pics of operators in the 70s/80s jocking up in Hawaiian shirts. It was a response to the grey man, tactical apparel trend, essentially saying, "dudes did work in hawaiian shirts and nikes. You dont need 5.11 shoes and crye pants."
-
I think the white light + great armor is perfect representation of personal kits. Not everyone budgets the same and there is desynch in kit priorities.
-
The point of this movie, I hope it will be, is the truth of a civil war as they have been all around the world. No one wins. Everyone loses. And your life will be changed, and not for the better.
-
My feeling on the tactical gear in the trailer is that it is kinda accurate. There are a lot of gun owners that run some cringe equipment and don’t train.
-
Mad respect for the Paul Harrell shout out. Love that dude.

"What kind of American?" Reminds me of a scene in a Yugoslav Movie called "Beautiful Villages burn Beautifully" about the Civil War in Bosnia after the breakup of Yugoslavia leads to a scene. Croatian Soldier: "What nationality are you?" Serbian Ex-Soldier with a Needle in his arm: "oh, Drug addict, bro."
