Maybe you think you are painting yourself, but really God's painting you and He wants everything just right and perfect. You're His masterpiece.

Her book inspired me to paint, I thank God he lead me to her. I found her book in a free book bin. God has a way of doing things.

If anyone, artist or not, ever becomes complacent or lazy, listening to this video and learning about the amount of effort involved, should indeed have laziness cured and replaced by inspiration. Thank you Akiane, I'm so glad to have stopped by. The inner critic can be paralyzing, extraordinary as always.
  • We are witnessing genius at work. God himself has blessed you with such a gift....using it for his glory. Astounding.✝️

Only in very few lifetimes has there been an incredible artist such as yourself..I get tears watching you paint..God bless you girl.🙏🎨🤗
  • There is power in humility and meekness, Akiane recognizes our Heavenly Father's hand in her life and that is her true worth

I literally felt her pain. It brought tears to my eyes. Stunning beauty. Once in a lifetime does someone like Akiane exist. True gift from God.

Akiane is not from this world. She is other worldly! She is an angel in the form of a human. I could tell this from the age of 3 when we first saw her gift and heard her speak!

This painting reflects what we have been going through in 2020. It has been a time of great reflection and thoughts of staying true to oneself, come what may. A true masterpiece. Thank you for your labor of love Akiane!
  • this is so pure and lovely - she really is not only gifted , but she has also chosen to be an experience - what a blessing to live in her time she is a sunflower .
  • I'm so glad that there's things like this to watch online. This young girl is an amazing talent with a great message of inspiration, passion, drive, and faith.
  • It looks like the painting has its own movement. It is the most lively portrait I've ever contemplated. Beauty like this transcends words!
  • I'm training to be a classical pianist and the amount of hours it takes to get 2 minutes of music is crazy. Seeing you spent 1,000 hours on this painting helps me to feel normal. Thanks!

It brings me to tears how people just throw away their lives while others embrace the moment one day at a time

Her painting is so vivid... It's like she saw herself in another world. The details she puts in and her expression.
  • She is just a phenomenon. She will be regarded as the greatest artist of her generation. There aren't words for her gift and paintings. Heaven sent!

Akiane will go down in history , like many other artists like Vincent Van Gogh and Monet

Akiane, I find it intriguing that you were drawn to choose turmeric to color the hat (and possibly the sweater that matches it). Turmeric is commonly used for conditions involving pain and inflammation. Throughout this journey of releasing the portrait to its finished state, the common denominator has been the challenge of pain and discomfort. It is as if you had known to clothe yourself with anti-inflammatory color, particularly your head (mind/soul) and torso (digestive, respiratory and reproductive organs). You seem to have intuitively known this project was to identify the connection of your thoughts to the identity of your physical self. You are triune: spirit/heart, soul/mind, and body. You were certain of that before you were certain of how the portrait would be portrayed. You are unified. You are congruent. You are aligned within yourself. The journey was to witness this alignment and understand it in relation to the world around you. Eloquently depicted! Thank you for allowing us to peek at a bit of the process. I imagine that the Creator thought through every aspect of you in a similar way, when He was designing you.

The mirror represents who you are in Christ, you are made in his image. I love this. ❤️

So beautiful! Thank you Lord for using Akiane’s gift to glorify you and thank you Akiane for sharing your gift with the world.
