Thank you for this video. Living in a rental and I was trying to remove a bulb and was wondering why it didn't budge. Tried twisting it and was afraid i was going to ruin it. Thanks to your video, i found that i just needed to give it a little pull. I felt so silly but hey, i got the job done :D

Never had a two-pin fixture until this apartment, thanks for the video tutorial! Readers, mine were wedged in quite tight and can make a surprising clack when they pop in or come out. Don't be startled! Cleaning glass shouldn't make it to your to-do list, be safe.

Wish I watched this before I went freestyle lol, I immediatley pulled it from the bulb and the old part of lightbulb is now jammed in there xD

I used the paint can opener to hook at the base of the bulb and pull it out. It avoids the need to remove the lamp shade.

Hello, I am having trouble replacing the Gx23 13w bulb in my old desk lamp. I bought a replacement one, but the new one keeps flickering and takes several minutes to turn on. Any advice? Thank you

Nice video; funny, but I have been having trouble getting the new bulb to pop into the socket...Then I realized that the base was a bit too long. Beware that they come in two different sizes, and look almost the same!

Can you still buy the 2 or 4 pin Fluorescent fixture's anymore?

How would you do this if the light is in an area that is out of reach? I need to replace one that is over 12' from the ground and is directly above the stairs so ladders are not an option.
  • hello, can i replace a 4 pin plc with 2 pin? cause i cant find 4 pin
