I like these smaller shows, especially with this trio. Feels more like an actual conversation and each person gets to expand on their points more. Love the channel, Pete!

“You don’t clap hands at a f$$$ing metal show” 😂😂😂😂 Awesome show gents

For every one person in the crowd that doesn't want to hear that overplayed song, there's a thousand people in the same crowd that can't wait to hear it. 😊

I personally never get tired of hearing "Dont Fear the Reaper."
  • Love this episode, the guys keeping it real (and fun as always) .... my favorite three of the Hudson Valley personalities!

Always a great show when the King is there. Love the Bobby Blitz impersonation.

The best line up. Chris and Ryan are great guys, funny and know what they listen to. Great show

I would love Iron Maiden to play Remember Tomorrow, Prowler, Another Life , Prodigal Son, Invaders, Twilight Zone, Gangland, 22 Acacia Avenue, and Be Quick or Be Dead

I think the reason why Blood Brothers is so overplayed by Iron Maiden is that Steve Harris is emotionally attached to that particular song. He wrote the song when his father passed away and it's about the experience of losing one's father. It's been said again and again that Maiden's setlist is dictated by whatever Steve Harris wants to play, and additionally management mandates several live staples by contract. This is what it is.
  • Hi Pete. I really, liked this show. Seemed to flow very nicely with just three of you. Ryan and Chris are always spot on and really fantastic. Laughed out loud a few times. Thanks to you Pete, Ryan and Chris for one of the best HVS episodes so far. 🤘🤘🤘

Really enjoyed this one gents. Sometimes the smaller panel works really well, things flow more naturally.

My daughter is just getting into Maiden. We saw them and it was great they played these songs for the new fans instead of catering to just old farts who overplayed it to death. Senjutsu is awesome live btw.

Great show as always! :) My picks: Iron Maiden (of course): Fear of the Dark (agree with all the ones you've mentioned too :) ) Deep Purple: Smoke on the Water The Black Crowes: Remedy
  • @Nac017
Where’s the entire Somewhere in Time album live Maiden??????
  • @breakaleg10
What killed Smoke On The Water for me wasn't a concert or it being played on the radio. It was a xylophone version someone had on his phone as his tone...

Brilliant show as always guys! Great and interesting choice for discussion. For people like us who have been Maiden fans forever, everything you all said was spot on. What I would add to the mix is that bands like Maiden get first time fans at every show, especially older fans bringing their kids to the show for the first time. My daughter went to her first ever show on The Book of Souls tour. I absolutely loved it as they played loads of new tracks, and my daughter loved it too, but was a little disappointed as a load of 80s hits were missed off. I guess it's a real balancing act, especially on the hits tours to satisfy both demographics. I'm totally onside with you guys, newer fans, maybe not so much? I guess for newer fans, imagine going back in time to your first ever Maiden show in the 80s? That's the experience (or close to), that they get. That also gives them longevity getting newer fans on board I guess?
