Stuff like this... can happen in the blink of an eye, and change your entire life and family in an instant... even this guy... mechanic with millions of CDL truck driving miles under his belt.
PS: The video I made with the kid and pennies in 2013 here... relates to this video....and I was the person who went to pick up this Jeep with him in Wyoming when he bought it.
Crazy to see people you grew up with, party with, and did many road trips with... gone in 2 seconds of bad driving....
If you are still reading this, take this note.. never put your phone BELOW the dash while you are moving above 5MPH to select music, or answer a text.. that 2 seconds saying "okay" can be your last.
Your phone, can distract you.... do not use your phone below the dash while driving, EVER. If your phone is above the dash, you can still maintain visual of what is going on in front of you. I have even driven over 100MPH (many times) on the same corner he drove north into...
....and he was not overly intoxicated as this was at 11-12 lunch-time that weekend of the news... this was simply driving poorly for 2 seconds and not paying full attention to what was in front of him going only 40-50mph or so...... (again, this was a major 18-wheel truck driver previously in many states)
Your phone is a distraction... Drive safe.
