Literally I hate Sega for making Team Dark not look like friends anymore.

Shadow isn't really an edgelord, he's a hero who's like an introvert that many kids can relate and further more he does care about people and his friends, he just has a hard time displaying his emotions, and no matter what Shadow the Hedgehog will always be my favorite Sonic character ❤️🖤

Y’know, how I see Shadow is this: Shadow isn’t an edgy guy who just wants to be mean to everybody. He’s a calm, collected, serious, a bit blunt, and righteous guy who’s just happens to be recovering from trauma and it’s just taking him a long time to get through that darkness He’s also a gruff but seasoned veteran who’s been through a lot

The moment where he jumps out of the way to get Rouge out of the line of fire in Heroes despite having no recollection of her is a very underrated moment to Shadow’s true character

Shadow the Hedgehog is the Batman of the Sonic Universe, dark and brooding on the outside, but incredibly compassionate and thoughtful on the inside.

Sonic Prime did him justice but he got so little screen time.

People gotta remember that Shadow ain’t edgy. He’s had a traumatic past that’s shaped him into the cold distant person he is today. He’s not the most social but is a cool guy when you get to know him

I think the character writing in ‘06 is the highlight of it, and Shadow in particular is amazing. He feels perfectly written. He’s moody and a bit blunt, but very open about his care and respect for his friends. He’s a hero.

1:10 06 Shadow is the best Shadow. That game did many things wrong but the characterization was far from one of them. It was in 06, that Shadow’s character development truly peaked.

The best characterization of Shadow is when he's acerbic, anti-social, and ruthless but shows his selfless, caring compassionate side every now and then.

I just realised all the three hedgehogs have a meaning Sonic is living it big in the present Shadow is stuck haunted in the past Silver hopes for a brighter future

Sonic 06 had a lot of issues, but it was the best Shadow has ever been. "If the world chooses to become my enemy, I will fight like I always have!"

Griffith is easily my favorite Shadow voice. It's way more interesting for Shadow to be, as opposed to being loud with a touch of nasally, quieter and more soft-spoken. On top of being great for his characterization, it also works as a great contrast to Sonic's tendency to speak loud and proud.

Despite what we each may think about Sonic ‘06, I think we can all agree that the way Shadow was portrayed was him at his absolute best

You know what would really be cool? If Sonic and Shadow acted more like friends or even brothers in the future games. They've done a lot together, it's only natural for them to be close.

Let’s face it, the entirety of ‘06 is Shadow being nice!

The way he cared about Emerl and how he treated him as person more than a machine is a truly a rare display of his soft,compassionate and understanding nature

Shadow actually sounds soft spoken I never thought he was like that in the beginning. Recent sonic games give off the impression he’s always been this edgy broody dangerous being. It’s actually great to see shadows always been compassionate even if he hides and his voice showcases him being cool and collected which has always been in character for him

I swear shadow was my first and TILL THIS DAY my all time favorite character ever He’s literally the reason I got so invested in story telling and character building I can’t stand ANY of the new directions sega had took shadow on it’s literally soul crushing to me Out of all the characters in this franchise he feels the most genuine and you REALLY get invested in all of his relationships and interactions with other characters I love him so much it’s unbelievable❤️🖤 . . and DONT gets me started on team dark “not being friends”/“having baseness only relationship” And how some people just rolled with it like it doesn’t destroy shadow’s whole characters ark💀💔
