Ah yes, the child test. Basically, as a child you can hear higher pitched sounds than adults.

I heard the whole thing and that hurts. The highest pitch was enough to make me feel really aggressive. Kudos to people who aren't sensitive to high pitch sounds. It hurts.

Fun fact, it doesn’t get louder, it’s just hat your ears/brain are more sensitive to sounds in the pitch of about 3000hz

Most people didn't understand the task, human beings are able to hear sounds of frequencies from 20 hz to 20Khz. Frequencies above 20 khz doesn't hurt your ears but you just can't hear it

You can still hear it, but it probably just feels like an aftermath of all that high end screeching

I'm pretty sure the goal wasn't to have the sound not hurt your ears. The goal was to sit down when you could no longer hear the sound once it reached a certain pitch.
