In a mere few weeks, we can improve your skill of learning to an unmatchable level.... I'm offering an exclusive 1-1 coaching program to do exactly that, only for the next few months.

If you'd like to join fill out this form- forms.gle/MvpAujbBbreGxPwP9

In this video I will give you the 3 steps to get better at studying smart. Stop watching study videos.... that is the only way you will get good.

The Week by Week Action Plan- to transform your skill of studying

Week 1- Stop Transcribing; Create Recall Questions
Week 2- Test Yourself WHILE You’re Learning
(Talked about these in the video)

Week 3- Start Skimming and Pre-studying

The Why: This is the first step when it comes to layering information. You need to prime your brain to learn the rest of the concepts and details. Try and get a sense of the structure and how the topic is laid out.

The How: Make a habit of starting with a 10 minute basic skim of the topic before or even as the lecture starts, at the initial stage of studying. Look at the main sections, key sentences, research words you don't understand. Do it every time you start a new chapter.

Special Tip: Skim multiple RELATED topics together. One after the other. Then learn them together. The more relations you can build when linking different things or similar things between the concepts of all of them, the stronger and quicker your learning will become

Week 4- Learn to Read in Layers

The Why: This is how our brain works. We can only take in the knowledge IF we've built enough of a foundation to easily absorb it. Forcing yourself to learn isn't a thing. You need to ignore everything else except the information SUITED to the level of difficulty you're ready to learn. Otherwise you'll just get stuck and confused. As you learn the topic, linking more complex information to basic information should get easier and easier. That's when you know you're doing it right.

The How: While reading or learning ANYTHING, start with the skimming layer, the basics (as we've been doing since last week). Then start building up the concepts WITHOUT the complex details. Then after that, complex details. Make it a conscious thing in your head.

Week 5- Start to Make Mindmaps
Week 6- Keep Getting Better at Mindmaps

The Why: Mindmaps are the number one skill that have most changed my lives. They allow you to actually have a proper model in your head, a full structure for the topic that you've linked ALL the basics on. So that when you actually learn general concepts, details, all of this information CAN BE LINKED to these initial mindmaps. This revolutionised my learning process

The How: Start small. Make it for a single big topic. 1) While skimming, note down the important keywords for the topic and important information you'd want on your mindmap. 2) Make sure to categorise the words and group them into sections, again thinking about how your mindmap will be organised. 3) Then create it! Link the main concepts ALL through one central idea in the middle that connects the topics together and build around it. Make it extremely visual

Special Tip: I developed this skill over several practises of making them. Your goal is to make it as simple and intuitive as possible. So you can easily remember the basics and make perfect sense of them.

Week 7- Figure Your Spaced Repetition System Out

   • How I Use Spaced Repetition to ACE Ex...

Hello, I was wondering if I could still join your Discord and do the challenges as you wrote on the Janurary 1st? I was trying to join it via the link in one of your Instagram posts, but the link was expired.
