Well, in IDFB, There was meant to be a thing where each episode, 1 RC would enter the TLC, and become an official character with a chance to be freed. Maybe thats how Liy, Stapy, Loser, and Foldy became BFB contestants.

Yeah I noticed this as well, it is rather strange because she is already a part of BFDI so why is she shown as a recommended character here? Unless maybe because Bfdia canonically happens before Bfb, that probably means that Liy was a recommended character canonically too.
