Fun fact: Aussa / Afar started as a desert. The Italian casualties slowly built it up to a hill and now its a mountainside.
-
I'd honestly be surprised if it got nerfed. Assuming you had access to it at 1936 and only played till 45 you'd only accumulate 234,000 manpower. Not insignificant but I don't see how it's a threat to a major power. Italy is just.. Italy lol
-
I didn’t even realize they gave the country that normally only exists for like 1 month a focus tree
-
Just imagine this, you’re an Italian soldier in ww2 stationed in Sicily, your friends are dying fighting in Ethiopia, and you see a bunch of African dudes in boats invading the island
-
The land was given to Ethiopia because in historical Ethiopia takes the "board the train" focus and even if capitules they still survive in the allies, so when you push from the allies territory you just liberate their land. You should've probably tried to ask control of eritrea when it was still french.
-
There is a bug where you split your transport planes and get 400 manpower out of nowhere, then you can do that infinitely while paused and get tens of thousands of manpower
-
Yeah, Soviets whitepeacing. Seen this too, after a really good trade of 6 millions soviets lost to 10 millions germans they've just whitepeaced for no reason.
-
At 17:03 the shape of the country was the African continent
-
3:53 "Oh I love that guy's portrait, isn't he a good boyo? Promote" His twin brother right under him, unpromoted:
-
"LET'S MAKE PLASTIC BULLETS THAT EXPLODE ON IMPACT" said the sultan of aussa
-
I was playing as Soviets and chose not to bring UK into Iran and had them capitulate days after they joined axis...which peaced me out of the entire war as I was nearing Berlin(mission times out). Pretty sure that's why as many have suggested this.
-
13:15 "... the desert people, who now seem to be based in the mountains, have developed weapons that seem more advanced then italians..." >Looks at what guys at Khyber Path produce >Looks at italian made Breda 30 LMG Yeah, that actually DOES make sense:D
-
13:23 look closely, HES GOT TDEBUG ON..
-
As someone who watches Scarface over and over again this "yayyo" killed me
-
“Historical is turned on” meanwhile some small African nation occupies Italy and most of southern Germany
-
00:28 the pointer at the portrait makes Yayyo looks like he's picking his nose
-
Italy: Do you see the enemy??? Italy 1: Nope Afar soldiers in the sand: Hi Italy: Hello Italy: Wait a minute...
-
It's probably a bug or random occurrence in game... but Canada really developed its ship building capacity during both WWs. As a comparatively safe port to build in, the UK help fund some massive dock refits and expansions in WW1. Then in WW2, a combination of private investment and government stimulus doubled down on those docks, leading to some impressive production numbers for a 'minor' nation.

First nation I played was Aussa and I conquered the horn of africa. In 1946
