Blueberry, Chipotle & Aromatics Hot Sauce from Lazy Scientist

Published 2024-03-17
With a blend of blueberries, aromatic spices, and smokey Chipotle, this sauce boasts a depth of fruitiness and complexity. There's quite the kick from Scotch Bonnets and Carolina Reapers!

  • Thank you both for this lovely video. You’re absolutely correct, I use small amounts of Reaper in my sauces for the longevity. I’ll certainly check on the graininess moving forward as hadn’t noticed that previously. I love the idea of having it with mackerel. It’s quite nice with a choccy brownie too! :)
  • Hey guys, I've been wanting to ask you for some time now: Do you find that eating spicy sauces, peppers, extracts, etc. boosts your immune system? About the sauce, I like the idea of the blueberries, it's a nice different touch, kind of unusual. I've been using Aroy D's Sweet Chili Sauce for Chicken lately. You get a large bottle for about $6 CAN and I've been using it with just about anything that a sweet sauce would go with. I made a veggie stir fry, and threw a tablespoon or two in the sauce, and it went very nicely with the vegetables. Thanks for another interesting and informative review, take care and be well!
