Solar observations with year 9 class, Practical, Gathering Data and analysing with RSpec Star Analyser

A great day for solar observations with the students at NGHS. Physics & Astronomy, teaching the students how to observe the sun safely, gather data and analyse the data in the physics lab.

The sun was very active showing over 8 sunspot regions. These active regions are responsible when they explode for the northern lights interacting with the earth's magnetic field.
