Why do the Irish have a soft spot for Palestinians?

Palestinians and the Irish share common threads of dispossession and hunger linked to the experience of being colonised and highlighted by the Irish Prime Minister's speech during the White House Saint Patrick’s Day ceremony. The Irish Famine, exacerbated by British policies, echoes the imminent famine in Gaza that many UN agencies say may occur because israel is deliberately starving the population.

Ireland and South Africa are the two countries that know Brits brutality and occupation for both have been under Brits claws. Palestinians are the last of the occupied countries by the Brits

Any person with 1 ounce of moral fiber in their body is outraged by what is happening to the Palestinians.

When the Ottomans tried to help Ireland, Britain blocked the effort. Sounds familiar with the current situation.

It should be acknowledged that Britain is largely responsible for the atrocities in Ireland and Palestine vis-a-vis Balfour Declaration. (France also has responsibility vis-a-vis Sykes-Pico Agreement) Therefore, it is incumbent upon Britain and France and the United States to restore Palestine to pre-Balfour Declaration and richly compensate every Palestinian for losses. Moreover, the United Nations must hold elections amongst Palestinians to determine if they are willing to allow a Two-state solution, which will require Zionists occupying Palestine to pay damages, for a minimum of 100 years, to Palestinians, or to have Britain and the Zionists countries to resettle Zionists occupying Palestine out of Occupied Palestine! CRIMINAL ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!
