I love that there was absolutely no reason for Jude to roleplay as the girl 😂

theory time: similar to mac on it’s always sunny, the reason jonesy was so obsessed with girls was because he was trying to force himself to like them. he didn’t realize he wasn’t attracted to them that way though, he went out with so many because he figured he just hadn’t met the right one yet. his only real relationship was with nikki and was just him confusing feelings of friendship with feelings of romance (as he clearly does with jude just in the opposite way). we see jonesy react adversely to being considered gay (by the two blondes he double dates with wyatt and when the cowboy bids on a date with him) likely because he’s repressing those feelings but notice how he’s overall accepting of others being gay, just not himself. jonesy either realized he might be gay and tried to hide it by overcompensating or he’s truly as dumb as other moments and never realized it. that or jonesy and jude are just a couple of nontoxic guys being dudes cuz fellas it is apparently not gay to kiss your friend and tell him he’s hot

I hate that they would show implied interest in each other and the show would basically throw in their own “no homo” like straight cowards afraid of parental repercussion

That's why Jude was my favorite character. He is not afraid to show what he feels and he is that guys that does not make scandals about his sexuality. BTW. 0:53 What a great view was having Jude in that moment. 😋
