Noel Gallagher wouldn’t have been able to write “Don’t look back in Anger” if he had known that it would become, over the course of 30 years, a staple for football stadiums, weddings, funerals, commemorations…

I love Noel’s ambition.. “ we came that close to being as big as the Beatles, but we lost momentum “ respect ✊

Noel doesn't give himself enough credit for the lyrics but this song is genuinely one of the best stuff he's ever done. Great video btw🙏🙏
-
Bro actually made an Oasis video…
-
It's impossible to not be inspired by the Gallagher brothers noel is a huge inspiration in my musical journey

Noel is totally right about life. The point is the journey, and if you don't get that, you've missed the point. Even if you get to where you wanted to be, you'll get restless and want to be somewhere else so just enjoy the journey.

One of the best videos I've ever seen, congratulations
-
Noel is becoming so much more engaging as he grows older.

Beautiful video Edit: holy shit, I didn’t expect this to make me cry by the end of it. Incredible stuff man

It's classic song and even though Don't Look Back in Anger is a beloved song, I think it's still underrated and overlooked to degree. There's something about it that just evokes a feeIing and that's what great art does. Always catch myself singing it randomly even if I haven't listed to the recording in awhile

I can still listen to this song 30 years on and it means something different to me each time depending on the stage of life I’m at. Amazing
-
Oasis might not have the same legacy as the beatles but guaranteed some of their songs will live forever. I've sang wonderwall and champagne supernova to American audiences and they've dang back like it's Hey Jude

The lyrics and chords give a similar feeling to watching a Dennis villeneuve movie. The editor of his movies calls his images “brain stemmy”. It invokes stimulus at the back of your brain in a way that can’t be articulated with words, but it’s from a place that’s deep and familiar. The flow and vague, yet relatable, lyrics with the notes (I’m not a music theory guy) of the song give those same feelings.

the ending made me cry, didn't expect it. amazing video and such an emotional story of how a song unites peoples and nations, on good and bad days. "Enjoy the scenery on the way"...

I often think the lyrics in D'You Know What I Mean: I met my maker, I made him cry And on my shoulder he asked me why His people won’t fly through the storm I said “Hey, listen up now, they don’t even know you’re born” Is Noel writing about meeting with his dad as an adult.

Most amazing experience in Liverpool, late night, drinking binge, after fish and chips, heard the chords to this song coming from across the street in a local pub. I grabbed my girls hand we ran across the street into the bar and the entire pub sang the words to this song. I jumped up on the bench and sang my head off with the crowd. It was a magical zen moment, one I will never forget.
