This video really shows how much the pit adds to the corps overall sound, it felt like a lot of holes in parts that even the hornline had the spotlight.
  • I've always thought that Kinetic noise was a criminally underrated show. The level of innovation they brought to the field with the front ensemble and live mixing / looping was unreal and unlike anything ever before seen on the field.I'd dare say that Kinetic Noise was a FAR superior show to both Tilt and Downside Up.
  • I swear I would give almost anything to have those uniforms when I marched.

3:39 "the spock roll was.........................CLEAN!! VERY CLEAN!!" lol
  • I was there, and this was the LOUDEST F*****G THING I've ever heard. And that includes seeing The Who from the second row. My favorite 'coats show of the decade, too. The best integration of technology into drum corps yet.
  • and just like that, the ballad and feature just suddenly dissapeer...

Not to trash them because they sound great, but they got sooo much better. Their brass sound at the end was so unique and dark
  • That part around the 4:00 mark with the snares is probably the most pimp thing written in a very long time.

Goes to show how much stuff they add in during the season towards the end. I don't know at what point in the season this was but there were so many lines missing compared to at finals. The trill in the brass at 4:59 isn't there yet, so many things at the very end of the show like the super exposed attacks in the brass, all not there yet and I think they made the show sooooo much better in the end.

The very end part where the drums play super high..... So hype. I liked the change but when the brass holds out that cord and the drumline is playing above their head. Gooz Bumbz

You saw them perform in Allentown I thought Kevin would like to drums
  • This is about as close to drum corps as it existed when I first started as a rookie in the early seventies....brass and drums.....truly drum and bugle corps, if you could imagine this with the G bugles...the drum line is damn near clean in this performance, great to be able to hear them without the pit getting in the way ( Sorry pit members!)
