I love how home-y this outpost looks. I hope there'll be a tour once you're finished.

Lol literally just wrapped up my last outpost update session 😂 good timing bud

Slightly related, for those having difficulty with transport links, especially the inter-system links not working as intended. The inter-system links only need Helium-3 being provided at ONE end. if you have Helium-3 going into the inter-system link at both ends of the chain then it will break and resources will get put into the wrong containers. Also if you have no storage for the incoming resources to go to, then they will be sent back along the chain and may cause a blockage which will need to be removed manually. e.g I have an outpost with multiple extractors for Helium-3, HALF of these supply 5 inter-system cargo links via the container on the rear of each pad to 'power' them. This means that both these pads and their corresponding links on other planets are now active and will now work. Even though on the other planets those links will display 0/5 helium and seem 'unpowered'. Don't worry, they will still work. All the other planets that are linked will have various extractions that will be returned and stored at my main outpost. You can also daisy chain these 5 links with more inter-system cargo links. To do this, send Helium-3 via these orginal links through the outgoing cargo crate and store it on the destination planet, this destination planet can then have another series of inter-system cargo links that is then fuelled by this incoming Helium-3. However, the extractors will keep sending the Helium-3 and will often run out of storage at the destination planet. My solution is to create a large stack of Gas containers and at the top supply the next inter-system link and also add multiple fuel generators that will slowly keep the incoming Helium-3 at a reasonable level without overflowing. Unfortunately, this is an issue with the cargo links as its near impossible to balance the amount, you will either run out or overflow at some point (the fuelled generators sort of stops this). I also recommend powering all of your extractors via 'wires' and Powered Switches. This will allow you to control the extraction amount (sort of) and only power on things that you need at that time. I spent probably 100 hours figuring this out so you don't have to. Main things to remember: 1) Inter-System links only need Helium-3 supplied at one end (Devs need to incorporate a better description and UI to explain this in future patches), supplying both ends will break the system, every. single. time. 2) Resources need somewhere to go, if there is nowhere for them to go they will be returned and will cause a blockage. Manage this with powered switches (Devs needs to stop the returning of resources that have nowhere to go by simply pausing the cargo link, with a notification to the player when there is new cargo space created they should resume as normal. Also, please increase these crate sizes, 300 is too small, 3000 is more reasonable) Sorry for the huge post but I felt that it needs to be shared as the system does work, I have nearly every resource being added to my main outpost via this solution. The links do work but need some tweaking by Bethesda and some better UI Cheers x

I'm so glad to know that you can build inside the barns. Finally I can have an outpost without an airlock
  • @WalkerEMC
I scanned the terrormorph to 100% just to figure out by myself that you can’t domesticate them. Why 😭
  • @GR-wp4wb
If u want the building but not the animals, shoot the storage box/monitor on the outside wall until it explodes.
  • @otherfanboy
I think we should aloud to build the barn pieces but if the world has no animals you just have no options to farm animals
  • @GwenShep
I honestly didn't know this was an option the small is definitely the best building but it really sticks out compared to the other building options lol

Quick question. Arw the creatures for husbandry planet specific? Or can they be raised on any planet with a matching biome?
  • I'm honestly shocked there are no fences or foundations to build with.

Would love the game to be more clear on how much you need of resources over time, just saying "water" is less helpful than "10 water per day" or something. This goes for both husbandry and cultivation.
