Making High Pressure Coffee With 300 Ton Hydraulic Press | Part 2!

Published 2024-05-18
In this video we are going to use our 300 ton ProfiPress Hydraulic Press and my home made Coffee Maker 10 000 000! It has special high pressure piston and cylinder that allow us to extrude 500 times more pressure than typical coffee maker can into regular espresso handle! This time we had specially CNC-machined super high pressure espresso coffee holder to prevent problems on the last part.

Don't try this at your kitchen! Exploding espresso handles might throw parts and hot water around

You can now buy your own hydraulic press through us! Press inquiries [email protected]
Here is the link where you can check out standard Profi Press models rhtc-workshoppress.com/ and if you need special custom made machine just send email and Profi Press engineers will design machine that suits your needs.

  • I am really proud of our performance this week! This worked way better than I ever could dream :D And if you want part 3 where I invite coffee Lauri to analyze our 1000 bar coffee let me know!

I've had French press coffee, I am very excited to experience Finnish press coffee

12 people have walked on the moon. 6 people have been to the bottom of the Mariana trench. Only 2 people have had 1000 bar coffee!

"Mathematically it should be 50 times better" That's science
  • "I would say that this is probably not scalable" Understatement of the century right there.

"I'm not gonna drink some lowpressure espresso like some filthy peasant" is the best coffee statement ever made. Thanks!

Only the finest Finnish engineering for my Saturday morning coffee

Need to make a 1000 bar pressure cooker next. Fried chicken is good but in a pressure fryer it's even better. 1000 bar chicken would be mind blowing.

You definitely need a collab with James Hoffman!!! This is the kind of silly coffee thing he would totally be into

James Hoffmann is taking notes, I hope 😄

As someone that fixes that Delonghi espresso machine for a living, it warmed my heart to see it crushed. Its an annoying machine to fix. Love the video, really interesting to see.

6:38 I think I know a way you could pack the coffee really tightly in the puck. With a press of some sort, maybe a hydraulic press :)

1000 Bars. 8 Billion unlucky souls. 2 crazy Finns. Prrriiti Guud.

I remember when I made espresso for the first time; I worked in the kitchen at a place that had a coffee bar, after a demo from our coffee supplier, i gave it a try. The rep really looked like he was going to town pressing the grounds, so i did the same. Turns out there was a big difference in hand strength. It took about ten minutes for the shot to press out, it had an oddly carrot like taste to it.

"After hours of fucking around and finding out..." 🤣🤣 Thanks for doing so! This was a great result. ☕
