I'm almost 67 now I remember my mother driving me from San Jose through Loma prieta! Down to steamers to go surfing I was 13! Then I learned that the doobies and Neil Young had some studios back in the woods in Santa Cruz!! They'll never be music like The Doobie Brothers steely Dan the San Francisco music scene it'll never happen again! Thanks for reminiscing kids!

Beautiful. If only we could go back to the 80's and fix and prevent all the crap that's destroying our nation today. It's so sad. Ever read Plato's "Republic" it's happening again. History repeats itself. So sad. Thanks for the memories.

Gotta love the thin sound of Ovation Guitars. Great players and great guys!

Been listening to this song for 49 years and it's still as magical to me as the first time I heard it.

I remember when I first heard this on the farewell tour that aired on Showtime in 1983. Seven years later, I got the stampede cassette and hearing that song brought back memories.

Sweet baby Jane. 2 off the hook guitarist. It was a great time to be a teenager.

If it has strings, McFee is a virtuoso on it

Slat Key Soquel Rag is the title of the song. Simmons tells a tale of how it was actually misnamed and should have been titled "Slack Key Soquel Rag", but the producer mis understood the spoken title, and by the time the error had been discovered, it was too late and the song was forever mistitled.
  • Was at this show, one of many at the Bowl but this was in the top 2 or 3. Other stand outs were ABB, Little Feat, Bonnie Raitt
