My ex and I went to Disney for our honeymoon and we were waiting in line for soarin and the second The father of the bride score hit I burst into tears because that was the first time since my dad passed that I could feel him there with me. Soarin was one of his favorite rides.

I was just at Disney Orlando last week with my family. First day there we journeyed from the Polynesian to Epcot, and I had a horrible migraine. I was miserable and just wanted to sit in the hotel with the lights off. Our first ride was Soarin' and as we stood in the queue, I was struck by how beautiful the music was. My daughter knew I was feeling bad and came to hold my hand just as the theme that plays at 8:24 began. Listening to it now takes me right back. Special moment.
  • someone else had this loop up, got copyrighted. bless you for having it. best music loop.

As a movie score lover. I love being on line here and marking out to "I KNOW THIS. It's The Boy Who Could Fly" or "Why is Father of the Bride in this line?!" :)
  • I remember that one time they played the music from the launch scene of "Apollo 13" in the Soarin' queue.
  • I thought I was crazy! When I was in line for this ride I could have SWORN that the music was from "Father of the Bride"! It turns out I WASN'T insane! 19:07-19:58 ("Main Title") IS music from that movie (for which Alan Silvestri composed the music).

34:58 also plays at the entrance to Universal Studios Florida, it threw me for a loop hearing it there the other day💀
  • Thank you for this! I loved the Queue music for Soarin’ My dad passed away two years ago and he loves to fly (former pilot) and all I could think when I was on the ride was how much he would have loved it!

28:07 such a great scene from Apollo 13 (the splashdown), and a great piece of music to accompany it!

Soarin has the best soundtrack, hands down! Makes me homesick for Disney. Looks like it’s time to start planning my next trip!
  • Just makes me miss Disney World. Hope to go back this year. 5 years is long enough since my last trip! XD
  • It’s funny. Thousands of people are unaware of where the Soarin ambience is coming from. My love of film scores make me point out specific tracks. I’m on one time and I hear music from Dave (1993). The next time I go on, I hear “The Land Race” track from Far and Away (1992).

About 32 minutes in is music from the score of the movie Always, which is stunningly beautiful.
  • Thanks so much for doing this! I LOVE hearing all the selections and putting names to all of them! I'm a music teacher and I've actually used this compilation at passing time between classes to set the "tone" for class. I have an addition for you. 4:17-5:13 is DEFINITELY the Battlestar Galactica Main Theme! I've noticed it many times while standing in the queue! 😃
