  • As a country person myself, I find it so cool that a white Appalachian man from a poor family met an upper-middle class lady of Indian descent (from California!) and started a family. I mean, you never see people from two such wildly different backgrounds interacting. That really gives me hope for America. In the past, I often had a negative view of immigration, but seeing how well these two people blended together makes me reconsider some of my views.
