Trial Chambers - Alex and Steve Life (Minecraft Animation)

Will edit once this premieres, but I hope you enjoy what is the first Alex and Steve for over a year and the first animation of 2024 to kickstart a pretty big year that we have planned. Quick QnA Q: Alex and Steve Adventure series/Aether/Epic Rescue of Herobrine continuation? A: Yes the Adventure series is being worked on by Michael and will be coming out early this year. This is a standalone Life animation. There'll still be plenty of other Alex and Steve animations in the future after the Adventure series concludes. Q: Bloopers, Behind the scenes and extra content? A: Yep, bloopers next week. I plan on doing some other videos like soundtracks and fun silly videos on Squared Community shortly as well. Q: Where have you been? (On Squared Media) A: Spent most of 2023 working on a big secret project that I won't be sharing much on until mid this year (it’s an original, so no relation to anything we’ve done before). Put a pause on that and started this project in October to have something done by end of 2023. Excited for when I can eventually talk about the secret project. Otherwise I am pretty happy with how this project has turned out for 2 and a half months of work. Slightly more cartoony style in areas and some of my most polished work, so excited to see what y'all think. Happy for any constructive criticism :D

I love the unique way you have Alex use the Trident, by having her pull the Trident towards herself AND being able to pull herself towards the Trident.

Another solid animation guys! You mentioned in the comments that this style is a little more cartoony and it shows! (In the most positive of ways of course!) The fact that you made over 9 minutes in 2 and half a month is just astonishing and worthy of praise. clap, clap! I can't wait for all other animations you have in store/in plans for this year, not least of all the Adventures Finale! And the not so little secret project Monty27P (and others I'm sure!) is working on. Great start for 2024 I must say, keep it up guys, you can do it!

The personality expressed here was really cool. Alex being excited at exploring and looting the chamber was funny because it's how I imagine some of my friends would be.

Dude I cannot express how much I love this! Everything is just full of life and the characters are so expressive! This is exactly how I imagined Steve and Alex’s personalities to be, with Steve being the more practical, cautious and nerdy one (I say nerdy because of how he was taking pure delight in enchanting that axe) and can fight but not as well as Alex, and Alex being more adventurous and reckless (the way she just dog piles Steve is priceless) and is more of a fighter. I could go on! If I had to say one thing I didn’t like about it would be that scene where Steve kept getting squished by the pistons and had like dozens of arrows shot at him, like, how was he unfazed by it? While I love the more cartoony approach, it can be a bit distracting at times, mainly during that scene. But that’s just me. Overall 10/10 animation! Really looking forward to what you guys have planned next!

I gotta say, this has a much better feel than some of the more recent animations- I know you guys have certainly been busy though! But in my opinion, this one captures the same pacing, style, and overall emotion that you're so well known for- just polished even more-so! Well done.
