I'm confused, just say you are white and enjoy black culture, everyone else does.

I’m ashamed of myself... I’m black and don’t have not one African map at my place. I need to step my black up... 🤦🏾‍♂️
  • She seems genuinely connected to African culture and her work reflects it. I just wish she realised that she can love that culture, do good work for the community, raise black children while still being a white woman. I hope one day she realises that it’s OK to be white because that part of her won’t change no matter what.
  • She braids hair for a living now dang………. Still living the dream

Rachael is NOT going back to her factory settings, EVER.

People were also upset because she was faking hate crimes against herself. She also got a black man to play her father. It wasn't just her identifying as a black woman. The issue is more of a lack of integrity.
  • She’s still rockin blackface, this is hilarious 😂😂😂

The picture of her serving dinner for kids is FRIED CHICKEN hahhahahahhaha

I identify as a millionaire. I have everything but the million.
  • She really had to do the interview in front of a map of Africa? That girl is going all in lol

Gonna be very forthright in saying that I’m a white male who stumbled upon this video pretty randomly, but I am so blown away at how amazing of an interviewer Tamron is. She really did such an expert job of allowing her guest to tell her story and guiding the conversation in a way that was constructive but did not beat around the bush either. I hope to see this skill embodied on other American news networks in the future. She should offer a master class!

Its like she's in a movie role that ended years ago and she never got out of character..
  • @allahuackbar396
She looks like a girl who came back from a Bahamas trip 😂🤣
  • @daequansmith215
How do you tell people to be who you are when you're not being who you are 🫵🏾 🤔 😂😂
  • This is pure insanity to me. being a mixed race person who is on the lighter side I'm truly irritated by her claims. Growing up in Colorado most (white) people wouldn't even believe I was mixed whenever I would mention it, and now to hear a 100% white woman claim she is transracial and double down on her nonsense is just.... I understand the cultural aspect versus the racial, but if this woman isn't the walking example of white privilege. STOP GIVING THIS PERSON A PLATFORM!!!!
  • Well she wanted to be black. Welcome to not being able to find a job, carrying what we do. Heavy ain’t it.

Seriously, being fascinated by a certain culture and wanting to be part of it is not wrong at all. But hating yourself or the culture you were born into mostly points to some deeper psychological problems.

When u cant admit you've done something wrong to a community and you try to justify it
