Today we talk about one of the BEST FNAF fan games I have ever played, Tyke and Sons Lumber Co! I go over the gameplay, the things I love about it, and why I think it is one of the most UNDERRATED FNAF fan games ever made!

Most of the footage in the video is from @FusionZGamer because this game doesn't run very well on my PC and I didn't wanna use laggy footage. Thank you to him for uploading high quality gameplay!

I think this stands out since it doesn't really feel like a Poppy Playtime fangame.

Mixlas being the developer of Tyke and Sons and Baby’s Nightmare Circus definitely deserves to be in the next wave of the Fazbear Fanverse. He is absolutely exceptional with game design.

This whole game is a massive love letter to Scott's odd artstyle

The only weakness of this game is the backgrounds. They're not bad, they just don't compare to Scott's. His games aren't praised enough for their incredible background art.

Glad my gameplay could be put to good use! I’m right there with you too. I’ve always said this game was underrated and one of my absolute favorite fan games. If you like this game you should definitely check out porkchops adventure too as it’s similar to this game in the best way possible.

The subtle hints at the animatronics with the stories about them is genius. The writing and ideas for this game were executed beautifully.
  • @twitchyeyess
This feels like a homage and celebration of Scott Cawthon and his career, each animatronic being from a different era of fnaf. Which is genius!
  • @SonicHaXD
Chipper and Sons Lumber Co. will always have a special place in my heart. And the fact that an amazing fan game came out from it is astounding XD

This game is very underrated and was sadly forgotten for how good it is. Even by me sometimes... a person who truly like the game. It's a very cool and good game that deserve WAY MORE attention. A true love letter to Scott's work(s) in my opinion.

I want more videos on fan games. They don’t get talked about as much anymore. (Edit: I mean besides the fazbear fanverse initiative, nothing about fan games is talked about in this fandom anymore)
  • @Cyesine
I’m honored to have been a small part of this amazing game! I was the voice of one of the monster mushroom that appears at the end of the game.
  • @bluecheese7447
I just think it’s amazing how the creator took 2 of the most important games of Scott’s career and merged their styles into one experience. There’s absolutely no way this isn’t his favorite fan game.

I hope this talented game designer/creator makes enough money to live comfortably. Meaning, I hope they are hired to create the games of their dreams, or at the very least, work on other paid projects. They are incredibly gifted, and clearly passionate about the source material.
  • This game is genuinely terrifying to me and I just found out about it-- a few months ago, before I knew this game existed, I had a nightmare that I was trapped in a FNAF game that took place in the woods, where I'd have to run between two small shacks a few hundred feet away from each other and close doors and windows to evade the animatronics, and the vibe of it was all very similar to this game. Finding out it exists was pretty terrifying for me because of that lol

Tykes and Sons is such a well-crafted love letter towards both FNAF and the game that lead up to said series. It's so soulful, and it looks like something Scott would've made himself if he wanted to. Now we just gotta wait for someone to make a FNAF version of The Pilgrim's Progress.
  • I remember being genuinely scared of building more than one of each chip-o-mat, thinking it'd make the nights harder when I first played this. I also loved the little joke with the discount percentage on the exit sign increasing each day until the last one where it changes to "goodbye!".
  • @proxydream
I never really realized how far Scott’s come since his old days. He went from making farm simulators to having you stuck in a pizzeria nightguard office. My, how far our man has risen.
  • @naughtymelon6712
This isnt a FNaF fan game or a Chipper & Sons fan game. This is a Scott Cawthon fangame.
